Business Support for Care Providers is targeted toward existing Somerset-based adult care providers.

What Is It & Who Is It for?

There is fully funded tailored one to one business advice, industry specific webinars and business skills development workshops available now to Somerset based Adult Care Providers. This provision is being brought to you by Somerset County Council in collaboration with Somerset Business Agency CIC (SBA CIC) as the delivery partner.

The support will be carried out by independent qualified business advisors using action planning and evaluation tools to help progress any organisation to meet their key goals and objectives. Carried out in-person or remotely, they will perform a thorough, independent review of all your activities and help to develop an agreed action plan for the future.

In addition, we will be delivering a range of specialist, small group workshops where we can discuss and focus on particular topics to help improve your business.

Our Support Will Include:

Strategy

This programme will look at business and organisational strategy in line with key goals and objectives.

Management

Time will be made to look at management and staffing processes, procedures and structure.

Finance

Each organisation will undertake a financial assessment to establish their current position.
